Coral Builder Gel is a clear base coat that is perfect for creating strong and elegant nail extensions. Its smooth and easy-to-handle texture ensures a smooth application and optimal control when building. Ideal for a perfect finish and custom designs, this gel is compatible with UV and LED lamps for fast drying and long-lasting hold. Versatile, it is perfect for natural nails, French manicures or custom creations.
To shape a gel nail, start by preparing your natural nail by cleaning and filing it. Apply a base coat for better adhesion. Place your stencil on your finger if you want your nails to be longer than your natural length. Then, place a small amount of gel in the center of the nail and gently spread it out to the edges, creating a slightly rounded shape for added strength. You can use a flat brush for this step. Cure under a UV or LED lamp. File and shape the nail to the desired shape, then apply a top coat for a glossy finish.
To remove the gel, start by gently filing the nail surface to remove the top coat. Next, soak a cotton pad in acetone and place it on the nail, then wrap each finger in aluminum foil. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove the foil and cotton, then use a pusher to gently remove the softened gel residue. Finally, buff the nail for a smooth finish and apply oil to moisturize the cuticles.
Here are some additional tips:
Use a flat brush to smooth the gel: After applying the gel, use a brush slightly dampened in cleaner to smooth the surface. This helps to eliminate air bubbles and achieve a more uniform finish before going under the lamp.
Invert Hand for Natural Curve: Once the gel is applied, have the client turn her hand over, palm up, for a few seconds before curing. This gravity helps the gel form a natural curve, strengthening the nail without adding additional gel.
Use a thin brush for areas near the cuticles: To avoid excess gel near the cuticles, use a small, thin brush to work the area around the edges. This helps to achieve a clean finish and prevents the gel from touching the skin, which could cause peeling.
Use thin layers to prevent the gel from running.
Avoid touching the cuticles.
Do not expose the pot to direct sunlight, as it may catalyze naturally.
Test the gel on your skin to avoid a potential allergy.
Do not ingest.
